About Jim Ludes

“Small town values- BIG TIME results” isn’t just a catch-phrase for Jim Ludes. For him, it’s a way of life in and outside of real estate. “I was raised in Lockport at a time that it wasn’t much more developed than the Coal City/ Diamond area is now. I spent seven years in a class with the same 30 kids. You learn pretty quickly in that environment how to treat people the right way,” he admits. As for the other half of the slogan Ludes begrudgingly admits, “You have to brag a little bit in the business or people tend to forget you’re in it. I’ve been a multi-million dollar producer for over 5 years and was just one of 24 REALTORS in Northern Illinois/ NW Indiana to receive an award from Century 21 for customer service. I believe that’s a testament to the hard work I put forth with each and every client.”

Hard work is nothing new for Ludes. While working and attending school full-time, Ludes graduated on the Dean’s List from the University of Saint Francis in Joliet with a degree in Elementary Education in 2002. Shortly thereafter he relocated to Coal City with his bride and began his career in real estate. “It’s hard to believe that it’s just fewer than seven years that I’ve lived in Coal City. I took to the community immediately and became involved in covering issues at the Coal City Library and Coaler athletics for the Coal City Courant.”

When not selling or marketing homes I cherish time with my wife and two sons, coaching and/or serving as the president of the board for youth soccer, and baseball, teaching math and reading after school to under-privileged students in Joliet, helping the PSO with the Box Tops for Education drive, helping out the Diamond Civic Club and (as time permits) podcasting and blogging away!”
